Possible GRIZ addition, basketball or football?

Interesting tweet from Willie Pflug regarding Connor Griffin. I am not sure what this means, or what Willie is hinting here? Could it be, Connor Griffin is going to be a GRIZ? Could he be switching to football? He was all state football in Oregon. By the way, Coach Stitt is one of his Twitter followers.

I hope the hint Pflug dropped on Twitter means Connor Griffin is going to be a GRIZ. What a red zone weapon 6'4" with 42" vertical be!!!! I have a feeling Stitt would know how to use him too.

Wow, what a weapon he would be. I would absolutely love to see him in Stitt's offense. Let it be!!

I believe he won the dunk contest at GU Midnight Madness last season. Everyone says he's a freakish athlete. I'm kind of bummed he won't be playing for GU, but if he plays FB at UM, it would be a great alternative.

I'll set this here:

I don't care if he actually has an arm growing out of his ass, I just want him in a Griz uni if he's going to play football.

From Oregon newspaper during his senior year: http://highschoolsports.oregonlive....hdown-passes-as-lakers-take-over-first-place/

Griffin not only is playing this season for the second-ranked Lakers (7-0, 3-0 Three Rivers League), he has become a force, as evidenced by his performance in a 55-21 win over Clackamas (4-3, 2-1) on Thursday. He had his best game of the season, catching touchdown passes of 80, 59 and 15 yards in the second quarter to help the Lakers take sole possession of first place.

"He's just the prototype," Clackamas coach Joe Bushman said. "He's big, he's physical and he's fast. He's tough to stop, but it's not like you can double-cover him because they've got so many other guys."

Griffin connected with senior quarterback Justen Ruppe four times for 173 yards before they both sat out the second half.

"He's always been the go-to guy, the guy who can jump over anybody," Ruppe said of Griffin, who has nine touchdown catches this season. "The big question was, 'Could he do it at this level?' And he clearly can. I can put the ball wherever and he can go get it."

Here are some highlights from HUDL. The kid is sure impressive. He uses his size and athleticism well. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/1242235/connor-griffin
