bobcat penalty...

As I recall, the bobcats were required to sit out of practice for 3 days after they violated rules by starting their practice a few days early... does anyone know when they sat out? And.. were they fined?
If they just had to move their 3 days of practice from later in the season, what was their real penalty? Huh? Sounds like they got a jump on their first opponent. Anyone know?

The way I understand it is that someone from the MSU football team contacted the NCAA for clarification about a new practice rule... the person from the NCAA gave them incorrect info. and MSU started practicing 2 or 3 days early. The penalty was to cancel practices to make up for the early ones. A couple were cancelled before the season and the others during the bye week back in September. That was the only penalty.
 
Oh MY, I can see it now. Excuse #5 by the Griz fans after their defeat. "The Bobcats were able to practice 3 more times than we did".
I'm sorry for talking all this smack, but I can really sense desperation and fear on this board by some of these posts lately. That 3rd wheel of that wagon is starting to get really loose! Its probably going to fall off here in about 36 hours or so. Make sure all you Griz fans keep your chairs and table trays in their upright position when this happens. I wouldn't want any of you to get hurt when the wagon crashes. :o
 
One by one all of the other smack talking BSC bozo teams have been shut up, and at long last less than 36 hours to go and the last one on the schedule, and this one will be the best.
 
Just about as much desperation as we had in 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 2000, and 01. Man if felt good to type all of those numbers. A little blip in 02, and it starts over again in 03.

Not only are we not desperate, but I have heard more people wondering what our seeding for the playoffs today than talking about the Griz Cat game.
