Any news or progression on who we are looking at for OC? All this talk from Brint about our offensive depth and it makes you wonder how they will be utilized. It would be nice to get somebody in sooner rather than later to give them some time to acclimate before spring ball...

Never fear, "ALPHAGRIZ(1)," is near. One must never doubt the "Mastur-,"..I mean,.."The Master." Him, the Mighty Guru.
One can only know of his greatness by knowing his followers:.."Growler(1)," "Grizbacker(1)," etc., etc., etc. But there is only one "ALPHA." Besides, I hear he knows Ryan Kessman.
 
I do not believe the new OC will be Growler (champion Griz backer) or Alfa (drinker of de-icer). Both have been in the rumor mill to become assistant coaches but neither has applied for this position.

Both the above mentioned would be my first pick! However we must wait for Pflu to pick a person that will #1 throw the damn ball. #2 keep the crowd excited and the other team guessing. #3 keep the Griz clean!
 
I have said it before....its not that I wouldnt be great at being an OC.....I just simply dont want the job.

If I did I would have it......I just fail to see the logic in making 5 times less money than I do now....plus I like the businesses I have.

Dave's last contract in Calgary paid $60k U.S. more than Pflu's base salary as head coach, FWIW. When Dave was starting out as a qb coach egrizzers didn't think he was experienced enough. Now after being OC for a brief spell, he's more than Montana can afford.

I suppose if Alpha or me were named for this coaching position, we would be an "offensive" coordinator. :thumb:
 
Actually, both Alfa and Growler have been mentioned along with Joe Montana.......,throw in the yet un-named high school coach and you have the four that made the "finals"^^^^^^^

Pflu is close to picking the OC.

One wonders if he has yet another "list" from which to pick.

I feel the name being announced this week. Just a feeling......._

First down: run for 3 yrds. Second down: short pass, incomplete. Third down: run up the middle for 3 yds. Fourth down: Punt. Rinse and repeat; even I can call those plays.
 
What in the heck is going on with all these Bobcat posters blowing about OUR new OC?

Hell yes, any high school coach could do us well enough to beat these cat-pee poster's weak linked excuse of a football team.........# perhaps that is the concern in bozeville? Beat up your own players and cry! Then cry some more!

Pretend you have stepped up to our calibur.....laugh.......not any time soon!

The new OC is going to be a good one! Cat is almost out of the bag!!!! This guy is good!!!
