Spring Game Apr 14th

When does the team start practicing if this game is scheduled for April 14th? I know NCAA has rules that govern this, but I am not up to speed on these rules.

I was told the Spring Game on April 14th won't be the conclusion of Spring ball, or even the final spring scrimmage. There will still be another week of practice and another scrimmage.

This was probably the only weekend the Football program could "rent" the stadium

Seems odd we have a scrimage at 6:00 pm with daylight savings already here. Won't need the lights much.

I don't see how we will need the lights at all. Sunset on April 14th, I just checked, is 8:24pm. That means it wont be dark until about 2 1/2 hours after the game starts. I'll be surprised if the spring game lasts 2 hours.

Will they only have like 3 or 4 practices before this game, or will it be more like two weeks or so? Considering it is only one month away, I can't see where a lot will be learned in this game. Does anyone know if the scrimmage game that usually takes place in Billings is still on this year? I have heard it will not be played there this year.

Spring ball starts March 19th. Spring break is April 2-6. That makes for 3 weeks of practice. Wish the scrimmage was starting later but it should be great nonetheless.

Some of this is already mentioned, but some other information as well that may be helpful.

Practice starts March 19th as stated above with the first scrimmage scheduled for the 24th of March, the second on the 14th of April in the evening and the final scrimmage scheduled on the 21st of April.

Practice Days:March 19, 21, 23, 26, 28-April 9, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20
All of these seem to fall under the "tentative" label and can change like Montana's weather. This is at least a basis. Hope it helps.
