Carriger is one big guy that can run.

I agree that Carriger is a fast big kid. However, you might want to check the accuracy of what you post before you do so....

The 100 times were from a dual meet in early in 2011.....this year Brekke's best time in the 100 was 11.14 (twice), Carrigers was 11.26? at the state meet where yes he did place 6th and Brekke was 7th.

The 200 was the times all competitors posted at Divisionals....not the state meet. Carriger finished 4th (?) and Brekke scratched from the finals.

As for the 4x100 times, again those were times posted at Divisionals. At state the Butte High team tried to "kick the stick" around and were DQ'ed in the prelims....Capital finished fourth with a time of 43.07.

A much better site to go to is www.montanatrack.com for all of this info. It gives a Deep list and results of all the meets from the past year.

All I know is I once saw Carriger (a DE) in person out-sprint Brekke (a RB/S) during their senior year in the 100 (regardless of personal bests), and you mentioned how Carriger out-sprinted Brekke at the state meet as well.

The fact that a DE can run with or beat a RB/S is a major reason for Cody's big-time FCS scholly was my point.

Both had great HS careers, and have bright college futures ahead.

My guess is his skill set is more appropriate for Ault's pistol offense than Leach's passing package. Plus, I think his dad wrestled at Pullman, so I would guess he is a Coug fan.
