Mostly games today and late this week (Aug 16-18), with exceptions noted.

Colt Anderson, Philadelphia : Game scheduled Monday, Aug 20. No box stats, Aug 9.
Kroy Biermann, Atlanta : 2 solo tackles.
Dan Carpenter, Miami : 1 FG (52 yards), 2 extra points.
Lex Hilliard, Minnesota : 3 rushes for 6 yards, 3 receptions for 6 yards.
Levi Horn. Minnesota : No information on playing time*.
Tru Johnson, St. Louis : Game scheduled this evening. 4 solo tackles last week.
Marc Mariani, Tennessee : 2 receptions for 16 yards, 1 KO return for 38 yards, 2 punt returns for 14 yards.
Caleb McSurdy, Dallas : Last week made 4 tackles, 1 solo. Will miss the entire season with torn achilles (S**T :( ).
Chase Reynolds, St. Louis : Game scheduled this evening. No box stats last week.
Jabin Sambano, Indianapolis : Game schedule Sunday Aug 19. No box stats Aug 12.
Shann Shillinger, Atlanta : 1 solo tackle.

* Levi is still on the roster (no report of injury), but that's all I could find quickly.

All and all, not a bad showing for pre-season.

Couldn't quite figure your reference until I realized you meant the game about a week ago against Tampa Bay ... when Marc had 2 receptions for 52 yards. The stats above are for the Tennessee game on Friday.

For St. Louis last night, Tru was credited with 3 solo tackles and a pass break-up. Chase got in and had 4 carries for 7 yards. (Rams beat the Chiefs handily.)

Not a Griz, but another Montana boy, Dwan Edwards, had a very good game last night for the Buffalo Bills. Recorded a sack and a couple tackles.

Good for the Cougar!

just watched the Rams vs. Chiefs game and Tru was easily one of the best players on the field. he had blanket coverage on multiple occasions, including a pass breakup that resulted in an INT. He also had a tackle for loss and drew consistent praise from Marshall Faulk who as calling the game. Faulk said coach Fisher is extremely high on Tru and mentioned that Janoris Jenkins has all the hype but Tru has just as much talent.
Faulk also praised Chase Reynolds for his versatility and the announcers discussed the amount of talent from Montana currently in the NFL.
fun game to watch!

Damn! Missed the show on NFL network.

For those who have the NFL network on DirecTV (channel 212), they will be putting the game on again on Tuesday (Aug 21) at 10:00 PM, Mountain time. (We're now set to record it.) Don't know what Dish might have.

NFL Network on Dish is Ch. 154 -- I'd imagine their programming is the same.

Currently on rosters-
Jordan Tripp LB Mia Dolphins
-competing with 4 undrafted rookies and two vets for a starting pos and 2 to 3 back up spots.

Dan Carpenter K Buf Bills
-job is his.

Tru Johnson CB StL Rams
-competing with last years rookie who made the pro bowl as a replacement player for other starting job.

Chase Reynolds ST StL Rams
-stand out ST player(5th in leauge in st tackles last year). On roster bubble due to alot of new signees.

Colt Anderson ST/S Ind Colts
-same boat as Chase but a little more of a back up roll at his natural position but the Colts are looking to better their depth at S.

Brock Coyle LB Sea Seahawks
-back up spot locked up, not gonna crack the starting line up unless through injury.

Kroy Biermann hybrid DE/LB Atl Falcons
-battleing one person for starting "leo" position.

Marc Mariani KR/PR Chi Bears
-bears just signed return specialist from AFL Ari Rattlers. GM sees him more in a Wes Welker role so may not be competing with Mariani.

Jimmy Wilson SS SD Chargers
-lead candidate to replace last years departed starter.

Zach Waggenmann LB Ari Cardinals
-probably gonna make practice squad after coming off non-football-injury list.

William Pohels OG Ten Titans
-practice squad last year. Could scrap for a back up spot this year but a long up hill battle.

Danny Kistler OT Oak Raiders
-same as Pohels.

Could we just get 'em all one one team? Would sure make it easier to give a flying fuck about the NFL.
