snap said:I guess it snowed a little in Great Falls this morning. The cats seized the opportunity and forfeited. They should either start holding their Spring drills in Texas or just admit they can't handle Montana weather conditions and put a dome on their abortion of a stadium. They managed to embarrass the state once again and it's only a scrimmage. Good grief.

They are establishing quite a track record. Looks like they are getting ready to cancel again, next year, Electric City Cat Fans. From the Tribune:
Montana State’s annual Triangle Classic football scrimmage was cancelled due to snow showers that swept through the Great Falls Area Saturday.
It’s the first time the event has been affected by weather in 10 years. MSU head coach Rob Ash said Friday’s events at Four Seasons Arena, which included a keynote address by NCAA president Dr. Mark Emmert “was tremendous again,” and said the Bobcats will “absolutely” return to Great Falls next year.

Actually they heard NDSU was going to be there.
And they left.
Quickly.
You would think with how poorly the kittens play in November they would have taken this chance to play in the cold weather.snap said:I guess it snowed a little in Great Falls this morning. bigkid said:Do the cats practice in snow? By ashes own words in the Friday paper he said this would be more like a non contact practice. A two hand touch practice with some contact at the end of the day. Are the cat players so fragile they can't go have some fun in the snow in front of the fans? Wow what a disappointment for cat fans.
