Wrongfully fired coach, rehired

Interesting article out of Minnesota. I guess we don't have the only mentally challenged university president.
forgot the link, here it is: http://msn.foxsports.com/college-football/story/todd-hoffner-ex-minnesota-state-mankato-head-coach-returning-to-job-041514" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

http://deadspin.com/players-boycott-return-of-coach-fired-for-false-child-p-1563978391" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
MSU was legally bound to name Hoffner head coach—under the obvious specter of a lawsuit.

I wonder if Minnesota State is required to bring back the entire staff.

His players are refusing to play for him.....

Wow. The plot thickens. What if It was determined that Pflu was wrongly terminated and an arbitrator told UM that they had to bring him back? What would his reception be like?

It would be awesome for everyone we would finally have a good coach back and Pflugrad would get several handjobs from PR and the QB club so there would be smiles abound.

What!!??!!

Well, the president of Minnesota State Mankato fired a coach for no reason. The president of the University of Montana fired a coach for no reason. Both decisions exemplified a completely irrational decision making process without basis in fact and which cost their respective institutions much money. Both decisions illustrated that the person who made the decision lacked intelligence, hence the term "mentally challenged." I guess I could have used the term "retarded" but I was trying to be pc.

Apparently the players know something you don't. While its nice for folks to apply black and white as it suits their purposes and it certainly gives folks like PR a reason to exist, the world doesn't operate that way. Lots of folks get fired "for no reason" keeping them fired in this day and age is the challenge.

Hell yeah, bring back Pflu after we show RE the door. It would be so nice if that could happen.

bring back Pflu

Maybe as the Offense Coordinator. Love the guy, but like it or not, there were just too many issues under his reign as the head guy.
:jack:
This. Hauck's teams had just as many (if not more) problems, and I don't remember many people using that as a reason he should have been fired.

He did inherit Haucks problems which was unfair. Hauck would also have been fired.. I have always thought Hauck saw a storm coming which which is why he ended up at UNLV
