According to the Casper paper, the Cowboys were absolutely terrible on field goals last year.
4 field goals made out of 7 attempts.

Quick look reveals no players from the state of Wyoming.

More players from Germany than from Wyo.

Yes, another reason to move up to FBS. Could save money by not recruiting in MT.

I also doubted that Titleist was the best athlete to ever come out of Wyo. in recent decades, but maybe he is, based on this depth chart.

If you've spent anytime in Wyo and further anytime in Laramie, I don't blame them.

First, Laramie has more of a hub to Nebraska and Colorado. Not saying that's the recruits they get but really they have Casper and Cheyenne as the 2 large towns. Outside of that, Gillette and Rock Springs. After that, you have a good deal of 10K or under, with a majority of towns being under a 1k. Also, In fairness, they have 1 state University...in a real...well, unique place.
Secondly, the wind blows, blows some more, sagebrush gets caught up in fences. You see some Pronghorn. End of story. It's pretty much Browning and Cutbank other than Jackson Hole and the NW corner.

I will say that as far as education improvements though, the oil money (at least used to) goes back to the schools....some of the best looking schools and libraries I have seen.

I think that's right. Above average hands, great route runner, and a true student of the game. He's not going to get behind the safeties or come down with the jump ball very often, but he's a gritty competitor who can throw a mean crack block. A solid two star guy.

Yeah, cause Tripp, Wags, Chase, and about 105 other great GRIZ from MT couldn't have played FBS ball. :?
