The NFL will conduct its inaugural veteran combine March 22 at the Arizona Cardinals' practice facility in Tempe, Ariz. Players will be tested and evaluated by experienced NFL scouting personnel. Measurements, combine results, and videos of the workouts will be compiled and shared electronically with all 32 NFL clubs.

Dude is a beast!!! Imagine how many defenders would have been trucked if he was healthy his whole career. :thumb:

Not a lot of press out from the Veteran Combine (other than Michael Sam attended)
This ESPN article http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/p...play-highlights-nfl-veterans-scouting-combine includes Dan Moore.

Another player who caught the ball well was fullback Dan Moore. The University of Montana product went to training camp with the Indianapolis Colts in 2013, but suffered a shoulder injury during training camp and was waived before final roster cuts.

Moore was out of the league in 2014, but spent the year working out in his native Tucson, Arizona. Moore wants another chance to show he belongs in the league.

"I know I can still play, but I feel like I didn't get an opportunity to get in there and show it the last time," Moore said. "I feel like I got unfinished business. So I want to get back in there and let them know that I'm ready, and I can still play."

There was a story this morning on the NFL network about these 40 times, and how pissed off the players were. They are claiming there were some issues with the electronic timer.

One guy (Scott) ran a 4.39 at the combine two years ago, and was clocked at a 4.75. Felix Jones ran a 4.85. The fastest time was a 4.74. No way those numbers could be correct.

If he was healthy at any part of his career. Physical specimen that was unfortunately hurt... almost all of the time. Really bummed for him that being inured was pretty much the extent of his Griz career but that's way it goes for some guys. He had an awesome game against App St in 2012 and a great return game running on 1 good leg against the cats in 2011. Too bad the FCS never got a full dose of a healthy Dan Moore.
