I personally do not think he will be drafted, but I do think he has the talent. I could see him being a return specialist and work his way into a rb or wr position. The few times he took kr duty he looked solid. What say you experts?

AZGrizFan said:Nope. He's more fragile than the guy that came out of EWU a couple years ago...and that don't fly in the NFL.

My thoughts exactly. No way Van's body can hold up in the NFL.

With guys like Van it's always:BWahlberg said:He'll presumably make a roster and get a shot. With the training he got while here it seems his durability went up from his Junior to Senior year. I guess you never know but I think he stands a shot - obviously needs to stay healthy and excel in camp.
Travon Van: RB Von may sneak into draft, otherwise a UDFA
Travon Van - RB - MT - Mar. 11 - 4:09 pm et
Montana RB Travon Van will either hear his name called in Round 7 or be a priority UDFA, according to TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline.
"Van looked good in ball-carrying drills and terrific catching passes [at Tuesday's pro day]," according to Pauline. "He was lined up in the slot and on the flanks, and ran great routes besides catching everything. Afterward, Van fielded nearly a dozen punts and looked good." Van is only 5-foot-9, 196 pounds, and his testing scores, including 40 times of 4.55 and 4.48 seconds, aren't ideal.
go96griz said:Van proved to have much greater durability in 2014. My assumption is that it was due to him primarily playing WR versus RB - he took a lot less shots. He is fast and he proved he can catch and he has some nice moves. He looked fantastic at his pro day. It's a shame he didn't play WR for years because his stock would be much higher. I do believe he has an outside shot at playing professionally. I wish him the best of luck!
