....is now NOT transferring to UND. Looks like Bohl is being a dick to the kid.

The UND football program has lost a transfer running back before he ever had a chance to get a carry.

Oscar Nevermann, who transferred to UND from Wyoming this spring, is now leaving the team in hopes of playing in 2015.

Nevermann, a native of Sweden, wasn’t granted a release from Wyoming to play immediately at North Dakota because the two programs play each other to begin the 2015 season.

Nevermann appealed the ruling at Wyoming, but his case was denied.

Nevermann left Wyoming, which is coached by former North Dakota State leader Craig Bohl, because the Cowboys wanted to move Nevermann to linebacker.

Nevermann, who was expected to redshirt at UND in 2015 and have two years of eligibility remaining, opted to join UND because he’s a longtime friend of UND safety William James, a fellow Swede.

Nevermann’s departure leaves UND thin at running back. The team enters the offseason with UAB transfer Ja’Won Arrington and converted linebacker Kyle Norberg at the head of the running back depth chart.

Who knew they even played football in Sweden?

Why Bohls even be thought to consider a release. Granted Wyomings scout team could handle NDSU, but would anyone (except EWU) be stupid enough to send their entire offensive play book to one of their oponents????

Barring a swede from playing in the North Dakota/Minnesota border country is like denying him a homecoming.

Common practice at FBS schools when a former player transfers to a future opponent See golson,

Ps. Why would you guys care anyways about the 11th big sky team?

Because he's a player looking for a team.

You talk more about UND more than anyone in all of FCS. Including UND fans.

What does this have to do with NDSU? My money would be on NDSU vs. the Wyoming scout team. Even money on NDSU vs. Wyoming.

Bohl probably got some counsel from Baldwin of EWU! It's obviously all about winning, and not a kid's education and college career! DIK-head!

Classless because he's preventing a player from taking his playbook to his new school and handing it to the coach and saying, "Here's what the Cowboys do, we play them next season." If you guys are under the illusion that college football is about education, and not winning, then I can't help you.

In fairness though, it wouldn't matter.

Somehow, I don't think the shine from four NC trophies will be any less bright than the glare from Bohl's head. Sh*tty deal for Nevermann, though. Doubt Bohl suddenly changed his spots from Fargo to Laramie.
