They talk a lot about his Chip Kelly influence, and quite a bit about Dakota Prukop.

Good thing they have him with car crash ash at the helm.

He knows that Cramsey has already told him the plan for 2015: "I said, 'I'm gonna let you get tackled 10-12 times (a game),'" Cramsey said. "If he gets 15 (yards) and gets out of bounds, that doesn't count as a carry. But if you get sacked, that counts as a hit."
Interesting. Could be a short season.

Thank goodness their backups are better than their starters.

That's what I was thinking.

Not sure I've ever heard of an offensive coordinator, or any coach for that matter, hope that his starting QB gets hit 10-12 times a game. I don't wish injury on anyone, but if Prukop gets hurt (again) it'll be on his idiot coach's head.

"It's putting the lipstick on the pig," he jokes.
...
With Prukop as his triggerman, that pig is looking pretty fancy
These comments made me chuckle. Isn't that usually a negative connotation? So is MSU the pig? or Ron Ash? and Cramsey's offense is the lipstick? or is Prukop the lipstick? Either way it seems to say things are really ugly just below the surface.

That's probably half as many times he got tackled/hit per game last year.

Yes that is Cramsey's point here. He wants to limit the number of times Dakota takes a hit. In other words, once Dakota has taken 10 to 12 hits in a game he will limit the play calls that include designed runs or run options.

Prukop admitted to making the wrong reads quite a bit last year and keeping the ball instead of handing off or throwing.

Between working with Cramsey, George Whitfield, his grandfather who played at USC and coached at the collegiate level, and his father who played at UC Davis and coached in the PAC12 and still works in the business, Dakota is surrounded by great mentors.

No mention of defense or the Griz-Cat rivalry in this article. This is basically porn to any Cat fan.

Best offensive weapons in the country :) :lol or even the Big Sky  I hate to let prukop know but not one of msu's receivers can compare to either Henderson or Jones. Sorry but nope!....

Or West and Kupp.

Seems like the cat people are tipping their hands a bit. We all know the way to beat a running qb is to hit him on every play. Now the cat people are telling us that after a dozen hits, they'll stop running him. Wouldn't that just up the ante? Cat people are weird.

Seems to me it's a little naive for Griz fans to suggest the Cats offense won't be good. They were great up until Prukop's injury and most of what they did well with - in terms of personnel is coming back. Add in they have a super soft schedule... statistically they'll probably be one of the strongest offenses in the FCS, I'd guess.

I agree BW. If DP stays healthy, they will be clicking on all cylinders offensively. Their soft schedule and their addition of a couple drop downs (Sandland at TE specifically) are only going to help. Unfortunately for them, a huge improvement on defense only makes them mediocre still and that soft schedule will lead once again to disappointment in November. Just my opinion.
