I was bored during my lunch just now and looking through Yahoo or some crap like that. Got to a link that said Jake Plummer was looking at what could be the future of playbook studying. Chuckled a bit and thought that Coach Stitt would probably like this type of thing.
Reading the article took to a link, but also mentioned a former Colorado Mines QB is part of it as well. I was watching the demo, and, well...

I hope this hasn't been on here before as I don't read everything, so sorry if it was.

Interesting. Looks like our Griz are on board already. I like the concept. What happens when the Russians hack it though?

smart guys vs. big, quick, strong and a sense of "I going to kick your ass"

Who do you think will win?

Chad, the former Mines qb, was in Missoula in Aug 2015 loading the Griz playbook and software. Good guy. The software uses CD2 software in the product. CD2's owner was Stitt's roommate and teammate at Doane and is a friend of mine. Here's a link to a recent SI article on the software.

I thought it looked pretty cool. Have you had a chance to see it in action?

No, it was being installed when I was at the offices. Literally Chad working to get the offense loaded, at the big table in Stitt's office, as my buddy, Stitt and I had chatted. My daughter has tested the similar product developed at Stanford, and said it is very cool. As I said, I think this was Aug. 2015, but I'm now wondering if it was later. My buddy thinks Plummer and Chad have developed a nice product. Chad played a year or so for the Broncos too.

Looks pretty cool, but unless I missed something from the demo video, it doesn't appear to be particularly groundbreaking. What I gathered is it's just a paperless way to study and quiz yourself on the playbook.

I remember seeing stuff years ago on how schools would use a custom version of NCAA football to study playbooks and also be able to go through them in "real time" by playing the game. Taking something like that and adding in VR could open up tons of possibilities, especially with the QB position.
