Well, shit.
This is so typical of the Allatoona 17! All big shots in their cassimere when the team wins and then they suddenly disappear after a loss!!

Well, who has owned the conference for the past 12 months, huh, big guy? The EP hold on the Northeast Georgia corridor is over. One win means NOTHING. You might have the tradition and the fancy stadium, but we have the trophies since our program started like 5-8 years ago. FTR!

New coach, new turf, a row of new hairdryers. EP is on the rise, adding new facilities and new potential! Your envy is duly noted. . .

Well Allatoonas O line is still not clicking. This talented Villa Rica offense has everyone returning on a team that scored 21 on our Bucs last year. We need that Oline to pick things up so our Bucs can compete and get back in the race. Villa Rica at Allatoona 5:30 pm listen to all the action here http://georgiaprepsportsnetwork.com/

Our ALLATOONA BUCS bounced back by dominating Villa Rica from start to finish 35-7. A trip to North Paulding is next up... a non region game

Just warning people to not get too excited when North Paulding rips apart east paulding. Its a non region game. Only the 9 region games determine the top 4 who move on into the playoffs so east will still be 1-0 in region after they get beat down by north

Wait, there's a whole lotta fucking Pauldings and they all don't even play in the same region??

Bucs ran for 228, Holimon ran for 171 2 TDS while Rainey threw for 188 and 3 tds... Ok on to this week our Bucs travel to North paulding who lost a defensive struggle to east. Yes this is a non region game and N paulding another spread O for our BUCS to contened with... ALLATOONA at north paulding friday 5:30

Have the coaches and boosters considered just turning in the gear for the season?

As always, it's a great day to be a Raider!!

Details later but our ALLATOONA BUCS went to North Paulding took 28-7 halftime lead. 42-14 end of 3 and absolutely destroyed np 57-29.. The death of the MIGHTY BUCS has been greatly exagerated

655 yard time for Stitt to match that WAHOOOO

Before Friday’s road contest against North Paulding, Allatoona coach Gary Varner emphasized his team would have to find consistency on offense and limit giving up big plays on defense.

The Buccaneers executed the game plan successfully, compiling 655 yards of total offense and limiting the Wolfpack to seven first-half points en route to a dominant 57-29 victory.

Allatoona (2-1) rushed for 468 yards led by Russell Halimon’s 201. Buccaneers’ quarterback Brandon Rainey threw for 187 yards and two touchdowns in the victory.

“We’re trying to get better each week,” Varner said. “We made mistakes but can build on the win.”

Allatoona’s defense stepped up early when Parker Gibbs intercepted a pass from North Paulding quarterback Kyle Banks in the Wolfpack’s first possession of the game. Halimon proceeded to score on a 15-yard run for a 7-0 lead.

“Our defense played great,” Varner said. “We allowed only one big play in the first half and that’s the type of effort you need against a team like North Paulding. We got some breaks and took advantage of them.”

Touchdown runs by Rainey and Charles Anderson pushed Allatoona’s lead to 21-0 midway through the second quarter. Rainey’s 16-yard touchdown pass to Turner Cockrell gave the Buccaneers 28 unanswered points to start the game.

“We knew we had inexperience on the offense to start the season but we’ve practiced, watched film and gotten better,” Halimon said. “The offensive line had a great day and opened big holes. This is a great confidence booster for us.”

North Paulding’s lone score of the first half came on a 76-yard touchdown catch by Chad Terrell from Banks who finished with a game-high 244 yards passing.

The Buccaneers scored two touchdowns in the third quarter on a 34-yard run by Jalen Parrish and a Brian Mitchell 68-yard catch.

The fourth quarter saw more rushing touchdowns for Allatoona, one each

Our Allatoona Bucs rode a poker tell to 468 yards on the ground and 655 overall. The best thing is the lightbulb has gone on for the oline so watch out... The ep loss might actually be a blessing in disguise come playoff time..East is a bit of a fraud so dont be surprised if South paulding rolls em this week. Our Allatoona Bucs wont have a problem this week when they host Lithia Springs... Another fun ride is coming with our ALLATOONA BUCS!!!!

Yes and he is going to Forida state BUT the great news is they are non region and not on the schedule

I've heard northwestern south-central eastside Paulding has a stud QB. Any truth to that?

So what you're saying is that after using your Spring, you weren't clean as a whistle?

Our Allatoona Bucs cruised to 42-0 halftime lead and the 2nd half was played with a running clock as We rolled over Lithia Springs 49-0..... By the way South Paulding beat east paulding 21-7

ACWORTH — When a team has more than 450 yards of offense and it holds its opponent to a total of 82, good things are likely to happen.

They did for Allatoona on Friday as the Buccaneers shut out Lithia Springs 49-0.

The victory set up a key game next week in the Region 5AAAAA race when the Buccaneers travel to South Paulding. A victory would put Allatoona back into contention for the region championship.

The Buccaneers (3-1, 2-1) scored on their first six possessions of the game and led 42-0 at halftime. In the meantime, Allatoona’s defense was also getting the job done, limiting Lithia Springs (0-3, 0-2) to 6 yards of total offense in the first half.

Allatoona coach Gary Varner said he was pleased with his team after the game.

“We played a real solid game, from our quarterback to our offensive line to our defense,” he said. “It was a good overall effort and I’m proud of how our offensive line keeps getting better.”

In a game where the Buccaneers pulled most of their starters before halftime, even the reserves made a solid showing.

After senior tailback Russell Halimon scored his third rushing touchdown of the night with 9:54 left in the second quarter, his night was over. Halimon finished with a game-high 117 yards on the ground on only 10 carries, and scored on runs of 15, 45 and 21 yards.

Jalen Parrish got Allatoona on the scoreboard at the 7:44 mark of the opening quarter on his 11-yard run. Halimon converted the 2-point run for an 8-0 lead.

The Allatoona defense, meanwhile, put constant pressure on the Lithia Springs quarterbacks — Destin White and D.J. Montgomery. The Buccaneers had five sacks and held the Lions’ quarterbacks to a total of 41 yards passing.

Allatoona defensive coordinator Troy Peterson said his defense played a solid game on a special night.

“(Friday) was senior night, so we really wanted to get some of the seniors who don’t start into the game,” Peterson said. “They did a great job just like the starters. Our kids prepared well this week in practice and it showed tonight.”

Supporting Halimon’s three-touchdown effort on the ground for Allatoona were senior quarterback Brandon Rainey (five carries for 77 yards) and senior Brandon Archibald (five carries for 67 yards).

Rainey completed 4-of-6 passes for 77 yards.
