Sac St claims BSC championship by default

So on the tournament that I still believe should have been hosted in Sacramento, due to severe rain delays causing the schedule to fall so far behind that, by NCAA rules, could not have been finished in time to send a tourney champ to the NCAA postseason, had to be cut short early and Sac St was handed the crown since they were the only team to not suffer a defeat. I’m sure UND, UNC, and PSU we’re not pleased since they were all still alive to claim the crown. Sorry about the run on sentence.

Here’s the link explaining the senecio before UNC and Sac St squared off in the winners bracket.

While not ideal, I'm not sure what else could be done. Sac State won the regular season and were undefeated in the BSC tourney which was played in Ogden (which has no lighting for night games) for some reason. I bet it wasn't raining in Sacramento. Thanks again Andrea! Do you really want the Big Sky to host the tourney 2 weeks before the NCAA tourney, just in case of rain, thereby shortening every league teams season by a week? And making the winner wait 2 weeks before playing in the NCAA? I don't think that is better at all.
