Really like the discrepancy in strengths and needs to improve.

Wow, 7'3" wingspan and coordinated. He will put on some weight too. Sorry, but a kid with his make up will be very hard for the GRIZ to land. He will be a much higher rated recruit by the time he is a SR. I guarantee he will be getting offers from the really big boys. Travis will be battling some serious competition for this kid. It will be interesting to watch play out. This kid has some big time potential. :thumb:

I have to think our coaches are scouring the countryside in search of bigger players to fill out next year's roster, as well as looking abroad and at transfers.

I saw some good things from DeJong & Krislovic this season, and I will be surprised if Alphonso Anderson doesn't start as a true freshman, but a few talented guys in the 6'8"-6''9" range could make this a very special team.

You know who I want? I want another clone of Art Steward. Love that guy.

We currently have no scholarships to offer unless someone transfers out...

I won't be surprised if a scholarship or 2 open up. IF DeCuire can find a quality post player or 2 before June, a few may not be back next season. I wonder if Riley Bradshaw will want to find another opportunity for his SR year. The guard talent is loaded and it would be tough to sit on the bench as a Sr. Boehning did not see much developmental time this year. Did Dejong show enough promise and potential to keep his scholarship? I feel he is a better post option than Boehning. I honestly feel 1 scholarship will open up. We shall see.

Alright Payton, its all on you now. We need a 6'8"+ atheletic gym rat that can dunk from the 3 point line and touch the top of the back board. Oh yeah, a mean streak would be cool too. No pressure :thumb:

Spot on, TD does a great job recruiting perimeter and penetrator guys but last evening is yet another indication of weakness in attracting athletic, TALL post types. Filling the roster out with at last one or two big men could go a long way in helping us close out games and stay competitive. Tough to get big men here to Missoula! I would think TD is scouring the world to find these guys and get em here.

Got a great bunch returning, losing our German hurts.....he carried us a lot this year, hope he finds a great place to continue his bb career.

I agree that a scholarship will most likely open up. Bradshaw feels as good as gone and I don't blame him. If Dejong keeps his scholly losing Riley would bring us to 13 so another player would have to transfer out. Should be interesting, I too desperately want a big that can come in and start, defend and rebound.

Yep!

Suggestion:

Expand this topic to include Lady Griz also since it does say Basketball Recruting, not Men's Basketball Recruiting. I realize there's not much out there for the women, but here's a chance to open some dialogue.
