Haven't seen this up here yet. So happy Ahmaad decided to take a chance at UofM. Can't wait to see what him, Oguine, and Falls are able to accomplish! Can we talk basketball already?!

Agreed, 24! My personal essential guard rotation includes Sayeed Pridgett who -- I believe -- is on the threshold of a major breakout.

Of course! For some reason always think of him as more of a forward, but he is indeed a guard. I'm excited to see how this backcourt improves, along with the whole development of the team. Go Griz

Why would you think the Griz star point guard is a forward? Are you not watching? Are you a troll?

I think he may have been talking about Pridgett, who is incredibly versatile. :thumb:

We were discussing Pridgett, who is very good, but not a star. Are you not reading? Are you a troll?

He does post up with smaller guards so can see you thinking he is a forward.

Yes !

+1

Here are a few things that would help.
--They update the roster. The Lady Griz have updated theirs, but the men still show last year's roster and team picture wherein six players are now gone or graduated. Much has happened with recruiting since last season, yet the site looks stale.
--Somebody give us a report on what's happening during scrimmages. By my reckoning, several of the new players are already on campus, and have been for several weeks now. If this were the football board, we'd have umpteen threads 15 pages long each with detailed info about every new player. So far, we've had one encouraging word on Kelby Kramer, and that's about it. This would be the kind of gossip, rumor, scuttlebutt, innuendo and inside dope that would keep this board lively. Jeez, I can't be flying up there every week first class with police escorts to report on this stuff!
--Any rumors about the schedule. Yeah, I know, it's pretty much complete, but I think there's still a game or two out there. That would help.
--Any info about recruiting by other schools in the Big Sky. Looks like Weber State has done exceptionally well, with the Northerns (Colorado and Arizona) and the Eastern not far behind. Idaho State has some intriguing prospects, as does Portland State, while at Montana State it looks as bleak as Bainville in January. But in this conference, one or two good players can change everything. Certainly somebody somewhere on this board must have some inside info on recruits at other schools.

But I must say, if you're a basketball nut, this is the worst time of year. After the Las Vegas summer league, three full months before the NBA or the start of college practices. Gimme a fix! And the WNBA ain't it.

Go get it done citay !
