Here is a little footage that seemed to be edited from most of the news reports last night. Everything I saw initially ended with Browns mother in tears being consoled. It ends with Brown's stepfather rallying the troops while standing on top of a vehicle repeating..."BURN THIS BITCH DOWN!!!! BURN THIS BITCH DOWN!!!"

This whole deal has troubled me from the start. The media was like a bunch of vultures. BLACK man, WHITE cop in every headline. Who gives a flying fuck what color the officer of the alleged suspect was?

What happened to the equality Martin Luther King had preached for? Is equality what blacks/minorities want or is it superiority and immunity from the laws we must all abide by?



If Romney or McCain (just random examples) had said they would grant blacks "permission" to eat fried chicken if they voted for their party it would still be making headlines today right along with the kid that allegedly stole what he wanted out of a store, strong armed the employee trying to stop him then decided to go ballistic on a police officer.

It's as if the public is scared and the press is reluctant (understatement) to tell it like it is anymore. We get it, you are black....or white....or Hispanic or American Indian. What does that have to do with anything? Why should you (or we) be treated any differently in 2014 because of the color of our (your) skin?

Racism is attempting to crucify a white police officer for doing his job. You are a fucking hypocrite.

If this police officer was doing his job this young man would still be alive. His job is to serve and protect the people in the community not kill them.

He killed a man because he was black, that is not not in his job description. The policeman should be charged with murder and given to the community to do with as they please. See how he likes that kind of one sided justice.

Bingo! Amazing how many people disregard personal responsibility. Look at all the videos and pictures of Brown. No one deserves to die but he was not a choir boy who walked a straight line. Cops have a very difficult job but I know quite a few and the last thing they ever want to do is pull the trigger

if you can't admit that your white skin helps you daily from being profiled or harassed by some random asshole (every now and again even a cop), you have lived your entire existence somewhere without minorities, or are asleep at the wheel.

You will lose this argument everytime because there is a disproportionate amout of blacks doing the crimes in those places compared to whites. It is like being in sales, a numbers game.

Oh and don't say they are racist..you don't know. I was in St. Louis last year and went to a homeless shelter that my company sponsors and it was in the Ghetto. We had to have armed security - they were 2 black men. We were talking to them and asked them why there were packing and they said..direct quote "Because the brothers will take what they want, including your life"

Been a few years, but I know one day I had to work in East St Louis. My boss tells me, to only work from 8 am to 4 pm. At that time there was no local police force because the city couldn't afford it, so the county covered everything.

Quite the day, my job was to collect money for advertising - typically people paid with a check, but that day everyone kept paying me with cash. Each stop I'd walk out of with hundreds of dollars, at one point I had about 3 grand in my car. I dumped garbage on the floor, and buried my envelope under all the garbage just in case something happened. I was careful and never went back to my car the same way that I went into a business.

The last business I go into, was a bar - and it actually was after 5 pm as I was running late. I walked in, and the place just stopped. The owner ran up to me and asked what was I doing in there? Told in, and he requested - actually insisted I return to my car quickly and had his bouncers escort me to my car. There I waited with the two bouncers, outside my car - until he came with his payment - in cash of course.

All in all, I remember that day quite well but did not have any direct conflicts. A smile goes a long way sometimes. Crazy job - saw racism on both sides, had white police officers harass me because I was in a black neighborhood driving a nice car - they asked if they could search it for drugs. After about 10 minutes, they looked at me, and commented "you dont look worried"; and I was like nope - I have nothing to hide. They left - that was in Mississippi. Was discriminated against in other areas by blacks. Had some crazy woman in Louisiana tell me they were moving to Montana so her so could play basketball because although he was the best they wouldn't let him play on the team there BECAUSE he was white....extreme bigotry.

The real world, away from Montana is eye awakening.
