I looked into buying a small copper moonshine still.

I thought it would be fun to try. Then, I found out that possession of a still, even if disassembled, is a fucking FELONY where I live unless the still is used only for water distillation or fuel alcohol (which requires a federal permit, I think). I just wanted to get it in writing that I am not planning on still buying one anyway, at all.

if you weren't planning to use the still for fuel alcohol, why in the world would you consider buying one?

Not sure. I was talking more about how I would have to get a permit from the fed to distill my fuel alcohol. What did you think, that I was going to distill spirits for consumption? Ha!

I've found Austin to be a great drinking town. I'd like to comment on its qualities around activities other than drinking. However I'm completely unable to do so.

i spent a few months in austin. other than drinking, i... well... i was way too hot.

So while in Austin the bride and I rented a convertible for the week. I'm not certain why, because the hotel charged me $33 a day to park it and to be frank, we were only sober enough to drive it once. I returned it Friday.

Today I get a voicemail from Thrifty saying I stole their car and threatening legal action.

Shit, had we stolen their f-cking Mustang, we'd be in Puerto Vallarta now, not back in rainy SeaTown. Idiots.
