No, you've already accomplished THAT goal.
G1 > AzGrizfan imo.

Oh no....the two biggest morons on the board are ganging up on me...whatever will I do? I just won't be able to sleep at night knowing that you two dimwits don't like me.
Pretty sure you're the 2nd biggest moron and hammer is the first.

I think that deserves a poll. 8-) 8-) 8-)

Ummm. Ok. So back to football... I think his sucess of will be influenced heavily by two things: 1. How the OL performs with little experience coming back at the crucial OT positions (losing both OTs is a concern) 2. The new OC's vision and influence on the offense.

All great points....but there were MANY times where he got 4-7 more yards AFTER first contact this year...as long as he's running north/south.

Moore was/is a great addition to this team, JCU why don't we show highlights of JJs incompletions, Jabin's drops, Tru's missed PBUs? No player is perfect.

Moore earlier in the season the staff really tried to test his lateral quickness/speed and that promptly ended with a partially torn knee against PSU. Upon his return we saw Dan doing what he does best, north and south - and he is our best running back at doing that, hard to argue with that.

It comes as no surprise that the offense had issues punching in goal-to-go scores when Dan was out. Peter and Jordan played roles of the speedy/quick backs but were not as reliable as power backs.

Also, with exception to the Weber game, the final run of the season was with Dan back on the squad, MSU, UCA, UNI, and he did well against SHSU.

Look at his numbers on his return over four games he put up 226 yards and 1 TD all-purpose. He retunred to being a key role-player in the offense. Additionally his 7 rushing TDs on the season put him 2nd on the team. Once the staff used Dan properly... he's become a great asset to this team.

Do you honestly think Dan Moore helped the running game? I think he made it worse every time he was in. He had 1 good game. He's a ST player and 3rd - 4th string rb.

Yes I do without a doubt. He was the best power-back and really the only goal-line back we have. There's also the intangible point of his leadership and passion on the team, a lot of guys look up to him. There's chatter of Dan having an outside shot at a pro career to follow in the footsteps of Justin Green, as skilled blocking fullback, he's got a long way to go though.

Also what he is, IMO, is a situational running back. He's a good blocker and our best RB going inbetween the tackles. He's the 2nd best pass-catcher of the whole group behind only Nguyen.

Just because you're a powerback doesn't mean you're a good running back. No way he goes pro. Unless he gets a lot better and becomes starter and gets all the carries and does really good. And I think we all know that's not going to happen. Sure he has passion and leadership, maybe he should be a coach. He's not cutting it as a RB so far imo.

How so? Back it up - or is just your opinion from watching the games on TV?

Justin Green in his senior season had 638 yards and 7 TDs in 14 games played (avg 45.6 ypg /0.5 TDs per game), he was drafted in the 4th round. He played a specific role as a change-of-pace back and blocker to Lex Hilliard who had almost 1000 yards and 17 TDs that year.

Dan Moore in 2011 had 430 yards and 7 TDs in 2011 in 11 games played (avg 39 ypg / 0.63 TDs per game).

Recall when he was out how the Griz had to run a double-reverse play to score a Red Zone TD. Dan's a very important part of this team.

jcu27. I went from LMFAO to ROFL. Now I'm like, whatever. lol

Dan Moore when healthy last year was a great change of pace. As has been mentioned, as soon as the play-calling started playing to his strengths, he was a sledgehammer out there. I spent most of the season thinking he was a senior. I'm psyched he's here one more year. I think he and PN are in for great senior yrs (we'll see how the OL shapes up). Anyway, I'm very glad Dan Moore is a Montana Grizzly!

He is also one of the best hurdlers of bobcats I've seen in a long time. 8-) :thumb:

More Moore and more Nguyens in 2012 !!!!!
