Interesting concept by the Wall Street Journal. Pick the teams without knowing who they are.

My Final Four (Completely by accident as i didn't even look at the seeds): Memphis, Kansas, South Dakota State :o , Montana

Yes, yes i would. My strategy was to pick the teams with the highest hot streak since that is pretty huge in the tourney. Worked out pretty well in our favor :thumb:

Really neat. Thanks for sharing! Mine played out with the Griz losing out in the first round & Kentucky to win it all.

What i mean is I didn't LOOK at the seeds using this program. I didn't notice they were at the top of the "cards" for each team until the final 4. Obviously on a normal bracket i can see the seeds.

maybe i am an idiot, but what im saying is...the 1 vs 16 is ALWAYS at the top of the region..2 vs 15 ALWAYS at the bottom...8 vs 9, right bbelow the 1 seed...7 vs 10 always right above the 2 seed...and so on, so based on that.. how whoudl u not know the seed? we might be on totally different wave lengths here haha but no matter what you are going to know the seed of the team ur picking....even if ur not really taking the seed into account u still know the seeds...or am i way off? im seriously not tying to mess with u here haha

Did it myself, usually just picked the more qualified overall team and did give some weight to the "level" of major (high, mid, low).

It put Montana in the sweet 16 beating Wisconsin and Harvard.

My final 4 is kind of odd but plausible, Duke, Memphis, Kansas, and Syracuse. Duke playing Kansas for the 'natty and the Jayhawks winning it all. I figured what the heck and dropped a couple bucks on a bracket with this pick today to see how solid "blind brackets" can be.

The loss of Fab Melo is a hit but honestly they're in the weakest overall bracket in the tourney, I can see them having a fairly easier walk to at least the elite 8.

I had Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan State, and Syracuse.

With Michigan State beating Kentucky in the final.
“He has the physical ability, plus that intangible you can’t coach — leadership skill,” Reid said. “You can’t always find it. But you feel lucky when you find someone who has it. He has it all. He’s Dave Dickenson — one of greatest quarterbacks we’ve had here — in a bigger, stronger, more athletic body. That’s Travis Lulay.”

I figured out that the code name for the Griz on there is the Quails and the Badgers is the Mules. The scores the Wall Street Journal gives each team is as follows.

Griz
Hot Streak-5
Experience-4
Size-3
Good Offense-1
Good Defense-3
3 Point Shooting-3

Badgers
Hot Streak-3
Experience-4
Size-3
Good Offense-3
Good Defense-5
3 Point Shooting-2
