Eric Matthews QB - Blinn College JC (TX)

Normal denial that a recruit would prefer an FCS opportunity over small college.

Why do you post this every time someone questions a kids decision? How do you explain the multiple recruits every year Montana DOES get that had FBS offers (Does the name Herbert Gamboa ring a bell? And he had a LOT better offer than suck-ass Texas State).

Why do guys like you feel compelled to question kid's decisions when they pick an FBS program over Montana? I don't try to explain why a recruit might pick Montana over an FBS offer, because it's usually unknown whether the FBS offer was financially comparable; they are often offers for an FBS preferred walk-on vs. a partial or full ride at FCS. Money differential can be critical to recruits. I know something about the decision process, because I went through it personally. Where does your insight come from?

You're giving yourself too much credit.

You can get expelled for lot's of reasons that won't send you to jail. Cheating on test for example. I think the University process and the legal process are pretty separate.

They can be separate depending on the circumstances, but in the case of Jordan Johnson, his fate is inextricably bound to the outcome of a legal proceeding. Can anyone envision an adverse ruling under the SCC if he is legally exonerated or the charges dropped entirely?

What charges? I've been traveling; have I missed something?
