Wow, 2 players from the state done for the year already. This sucks

It is a tough week for Montana kids. Both are tough hard working kids, and both will be seen again next year for sure...

Achilles not good! Can't beleive these guys aren't stretching the shit out of it before practice?

Achilles injuries are generally freak injuries - can happen at anytime to anyone whether they stretch a lot or not...... one huge advantage Caleb has in coming back from this is his youth. He should be good to go by May/June :thumb:

I agree, and of all the tendons to tear, the achilles has the best recovery percentage of all. They say when surgury and rehab goes well it is better than 100% after rehab. Remember Lex had a complete rupture and hasn't had a problem with it since. It sucks but it is also a very recoverable injury. He will be back and better than ever.

I feel really bad seeing Caleb getting injured like that. As a Bobcat fan he sure earned my respect. It is terrible seeing two great Montana guys going down with season ending injuries in Caleb and Dane Fletcher. They are out of the same mold-great guys and super hard workers.

Caleb is going in for surgery tomorrow in dallas . His doctor told him the tear was higher than most making for less scar tissue to deal with. He also was placed on IR . Coach Garrett speaks about it alttle in his 8/16 press conference at dallascowboys.com (5:00into it).

That's too bad. Here's to a speedy recovery. Hate to see someone hurt like that, even if he was a Griz. Those injuries hurt.
