How to handle a streaker?

Postby schield » Fri Oct 21, 2011 9:15 am

Seems the Pac-10 security team handles streakers a bit differently then the UM security team. I especially like the pile-drive tackle.

Saw piledrive tackle and was expecting

still a solid tackle. Nice angle of attack and notice the outside arm swiping for the strip.

How about a "naked" Monte? Have Monte come out, minus the Griz gear & get "tackled" by security.
The crowd would go wild. Probably a onetime deal, tho.

Monte has streaked many times in the past. Either the fun police got to him or it's another reason "monte sucks now".

Ditka. Totally dismantled a field intruder in his playing days.

In today's Litigious society, you probably can't do this anymore.

At the 1:08 mark of this NFL video about Mike Ditka's career, it shows a
Fan running on the field (with security people chasing) and Ditka tackles the Fan.

Yeah, I thought of that same incident.

The best part of that whole game last night is when the streaker came out, and the players started to brawl at the same time.

 He not only blew up the idiot fan, he took down the security(?) guy who was pussy-footing up behind and trying to corral him "politely." (Ditka is Old School -- I love it!)

Duct taping streakers to the goal post naked until they sobered up would probably eliminate repeat offenders and reduce copy crack frolickers, eh?
