Coach bashing

While bashing coaches can be great fun, it is not good for a program that is trying to renew itself. You can scream and point out how badly Stitt coached or the hardheadedness of Hauck or the way Delaney or Plug handled things, but to what end? Changing coaches consistently is a recipe for disaster for an FCS school. The Power conferences can get away with it sometimes but most take time to just return to average.
This is just a game, some thing colleges seem to forget. I live in an area where football is surpassed only by religion and then, it is a close call which matters most. Most of the schools have long term coaches with fair records. Furman, Citadel, Charleston, Elon, etc...they do ok. Y'awl need to reeelax...It's supposing to be fun.

Hey. If we wanted average to below average results, we’d have hired Ron Ash.

This is MONTANA, not College of Charleston.

...not coaching fault for turn overs BUT others players need to be put in to keep players competitive
especially when mistakes are made!

Why don't some of you stop following the Griz, and then we will all be better.

I find it funny that some (dumb) fans blame coaches for fumbles by players.

I agree with your post.

In general there is to much bashing of everything, coaches, players, coaches and players that are no longer here, other universities, other teams, other posters, and the list goes on. Social networking probably contributes to that in general. I love going to far left and far right sites, and reading the clowns that post there. At least we don’t see death threats here.

Geez...talk about soft. Some of you sound like cat fans.

It is OK for people to expect professionals to be excellent at their chosen profession.

Do you think that bashing coaches/players/professionals has anything to do with expecting them to be excellent in their field?

Is that the way you treat your employees, your relatives, your employees, your neighbors?

So the professional criticizer criticizes those who criticize a coach whose team makes critical mistakes in mid season games who was touted as a coach who could correct critical mistakes of the players who played last year under the most criticized Montana coach on egriz? Here's my criticism: Being critical of a D-1 coach is not now, nor ever will be, "bashing" Geez, Bobby campaigned for and accepted this job knowing he was under a microscope. What this thread and others like it this weekend are really about is last fall's haters are reaping what they sowed and want it to stop claiming its not right to potentially hurt anyone's feelings. It obvious you crybabies never coached the game. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!

I wish Bobby would quit worrying about what all the nay sayers and haters are thinking and become the coach disciplinarian he used to be. Time to step out of the shadow's Bobby and be what the majority of us Griz fans want.... The team needs the real Bobby Hauck! Crack some balls!

I am still at a loss as to how we went from playing good to this.

Is someone spraying Pam on the Griz football and we don't know about it?
It all started on the first play from scrimmage against PSU.

This is crazy, Pine tar is now needed. Apply liberally.
