No huge surprises. Griz are out of the top-25 (as they should be), Northern Iowa is back in .

Who the hell is still voting for this team? After the last two weeks? Woof.

Also, Idaho State still not in is a joke.

Further interesting observations … the two “surprises” being easily explained.

First, EWU, after losing to #13 Weber State, dropped the “normal” five spots. FWIW, the Big Sky has three teams in the top-10. Can’t recall if that has ever happened before.

Elon dropped six spots after losing to unranked Delaware (and Delaware squeaked into the top-25). That too is fairly “normal.”

The two “abnormal” drops were for North Carolina A&T and Nicholls … both of which dropped nine spots. That is quite unusual. Of course, NC A&T is in the pathetic MEAC, but I thought the pollsters had a bit more respect for the Southland Conference (guess not ).

According to the Big Sky Website, the last time the Big Sky had three teams in the top 10 was Week 1 of the 2015 season when Eastern was #7, Montana was 8th and Montana State was 9th, but then again that was the coaches poll
