Both Bohannon and Monken coached with Johnson. If Tech decides to continue with the triple option given this years rule changes relative below the waist blocks limited to within the tackles and only five yards downfield, one would think Tech goes with Monken. Army and Tech have similar academic "rigor." This is one position I'm interested in because of Johnson's coaching tree. Have no idea who coaches Georgia Southern anymore.
 
Dominos starting to fall. K-State opens up, coach K makes the jump & another unknown UNDSU assistant assumes the helm & wins another seven titles.

The Mike Houston situation reminds me of several good men I worked with earlier in my career. He was offered the position at Charlotte and evidently the AD felt he had made the hire. Houston comtinued to talk to other ADs and Charlotte rescinded the offer. I know high school coaches in some states are continually being swiped by good school administrators. Was told by my professors in my masters program the most important hire I will ever make as a principal is the head football coach. I think it's the same at the collegiate level.
 
Jason Petrino is leaving Rocky (Head Coach) for D1 assistant job somewhere.

As you should be. I give him 3 years before he gets the boot. He will be lucky to get an FCS offensive coordinator job after he gets canned at Texas Tech.

This is an impressive kid; not a dickhead like most Petrinos. Very accessable and engaging. Did wonders at Rocky.
