Great list = Thank you Sask. Chad Germer was primarily a Center. K Klaboe was long-snapper. Brian Salonen at Tight End. Blaine McElmurry at Safety. And sending apologies - I did not understand that you were trying to stick to TWO, and maybe you consider bending that rule.

Yeah that was a bad miss by me, especially since I was at the U when Chad first started. I corrected it but couldn't decide which of two centers to drop so I'm moving Verlanic to Tackle only because he was 282 his Senior year and Kempfert was a little more decorated at Center and 2 pounds lighter. LOL Chad could play anywhere along the line so that is why I originally had him at Tackle but he's got to start. An embarrassment of riches!

The embarrassment of riches is in the skill positions (QB, RB, WR), LB and defensive backfield. Oh, and the ST’s….

Lol. Edit: I keep going back and seeing OTHER all-star areas, like DL….

I would add DT Joe Kalafat from Great Falls on the list

It was a tough call, and there is an argument to dump Bryan Waldhauser for Joe Kalafat, I probably would not pick him over Kidder or Mullins but he's definitely in the conversation.

Winner winner chicken dinner. THAT team is taking home the Griz State Cup! Time to bust out the old electric football game now and see who wins it all!

Wow what a squad. Thatcher and Petek both start and it’s not really close. Not even sure Watkins makes the squad but if he does he plays in the slot.

Part of my I posted this was to start some "round the stove" talk. If Petek starts who sits Zach or Kroy? Watkins: 166 catches, 2400 yards and 20 TD's? Not sure he makes the squad? Okay, I'm listening.

I'd take Petek over Wagenmann any day of the week. And twice on Sunday!

I’m not trying to start an argument, and I honestly don’t remember Peter all that well, but I remember Wagenmann.

2012: 50 tackles, 13 TFL, 11.5 sacks
2013: 64 tackles, 16.5 TFL, 8.5 sacks, 3 FF
2014: 22.5 TFL, 17.5 sacks, 6 FF, first team FCS AA, first team All-BSC, and BSC DPOY and a finalist for the Buck Buchanan Award.

Petek must have been pretty fucking good if you’re taking him over Wagenmann with these stats.

Petek ('97-'00) was good. Had a monster season in 2000 (87 tackles, 35 TFL, 19 sacks, 6 FF). A big reason we got to the NC game.

OK, if we’re getting THAT Petek, then I’d agree with the original assessment.

Rob Schulte as a specialist deserves a place over Sulser
You may be right. I only listed players as returners if they were listed on a roster as a return specialist. Except when I went back and checked that I didn't do that for Sulser, so using my own criteria I better drop him.

I’m still taking State of Origin Oregon as the best because it’s the most fun to say.
