Highlights
Might seem strange to call a 34 – 28 game a defensive struggle but it really was. Only a couple big plays and some incredible special teams play kept this from being a 17 – 14 type of game. Offensively the brilliance of Miller’s arm and the mobility of Berquist were two of the few things that troubled either team’s defense.

California’s lack of O-line experience was telling as they struggled in the run game as the day wore on and had trouble much of the afternoon with Washington’s blitz packages.

Henderson’s game winning return as time expired came after California elected to try to win the game with 52 yd field goal attempt that was dead straight but fell just short of the crossbar.

Post-game interview with former South Dakota Coyotes and UM Griz coach Joe Glenn, on Henderson’s return.;
“Now where the hell have I seen that before?”

Ha! Love the way the game ended! That would be epic to see….

And lord no…anything but Beri Beri….

Two fully loaded teams battling it out. An epic showdown full of Griz stars that sure would’ve been fun to watch. Sask, you have a captive audience😊.
