Gonzaga suspends Stockton's season tickets, for not wearing mask

This is all about viral load of omicron. The omicron version unlike the Delta needs far less fluid and far less of the virus itself to make itself effective and active in the human system. Early on in the pandemic, the most severe cases were related to individuals who were exposed to huge amounts of the virus. The Delta was a bit more efficient, but still required a decent amount of the virus to go active in the system. The omicron is the logical evolution of the virus. Much more portable in smaller amounts of substances and extremely potent. Thus the emphasis on the N95 and KN 95 in areas where transmission of the virus is more likely (like schools). At this point we aren't going to get rid of the virus and like the flu it is going to become endemic.

As for Stockton, as I said before, this isn't the first time he's stepped in it with Gonzaga. With the type of athletic endowment they have now, I doubt they'll have to go begging for donations from Stockton. He's an ambassador for the program and school. They'll distance themselves from him in the short term, and it isn't as if they are severing ties from the guy. He made a political decision that was contrary to the Athletic Departments current policies and he chose to comply with their decision to have him step away from attending athletic events in the short term.

Calling Darwin, cleanup coming soon on aisle 0.

One more time for the people who sat in the back:
Wearing a mask will protect those around you from infection. COVID-19 is spread from person to person by respiratory droplets, which are largely projected when you cough, sneeze, talk and sing. Cloth face masks act as barriers, preventing those around you from inhaling these droplets.

Nice try but no cigar. If the virus can easily breach a cloth mask, the very act of breathing will release virus, allowing it to escape. No need to sneeze or cough. The droplet thingy has been amended by the science. There is a reason why Biden is spending billions on providing N95 masks to Americans.

Yes, yes wear the N95 mask its way better than the cloth, your right.

P.S.
Tell John.

Can anybody name two of the 150 professional athletes whom Stockton said died from the COVID vaccine?

I’ll hang up and wait.

Can anyone reference more than 5 Americans who died from the vaccines?

Can anyone name one basketball fan who died of covid after catching it at a college hoops game?

Stockton is on the spectrum. He's a weird person. The last guy in the world you'd want to have a few drinks with in a bar. But Spokane is full of batshit crazy people.

Don't know your experience with Stockman, but having been around and with him several times, and knowing one of his sons, I have always liked Stockman. His son and nephew are great.

What is anyone missing about the hundreds of college and NBA games being played around the country with thousands of fans attending without masks? Anyone hear about super-spreader events from these games? The supreme court has already struck-down mask mandates.

Cloth masks provide no protection, because the virus is much smaller than the weave size of cloth used to make these masks. There is a reason why sleepy Joe in now wasting billions of dollars buying N95 masks for everyone, even though the pandemic is very close to becoming an endemic. Just like failing to provide America with Covid testing kids until now, Biden reacts too late, instead of proactively.

I agree with Stockton's refusal to comply with a ridiculous mandate which is not supported by science.

Be simpler if anybody coughing and sick stayed home.

Not only better, but it actually offers protection, while cloth masks don't. Wearing a cloth mask is like using Saran Wrap as a condom

So you know Stockton so well that you call him Stockman?

Just data points; no points being made.

"A representative from the National Football League said there were no vaccine-related deaths or hospitalizations among roughly 3,000 players in the N.F.L. Ninety-five percent of the league’s players have been vaccinated."

"The Biden Administration has officially withdrawn a rule that would have required workers at big companies to get vaccinated or face regular COVID testing requirements.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration confirmed the withdrawal Tuesday. But the agency said it still strongly encourages workers to get vaccinated.

In early November, OSHA announced a vaccine-or-test mandate for companies with at least 100 employees. The rule—which would have impacted more than 80 million U.S. workers—was originally set to go into effect on Jan. 4."
