Big thanks from me.

Wow we could almost red shirt all freshman and then the ball keeps rolling.

Looking good.

Count me in with Griz1, Citay and fanofzoo... THANKS for both of these valuable team roster-recruitment databases Grizfan-24!

Having both teams covered under the eGriz banner of Montana Grizzlies Basketball is logical and fitting, in my opinion. Any cursory examination of either press coverage or a fan-based forum coverage at any other Big Sky school (along with Montana's fan attendance numbers) will reveal that Montana is light years ahead of every other Big Sky school re: women's basketball. In all sports, actually.

Increased & improved recognition of the WBB program here simply illustrates how Montana fans support its teams compared to any other Big Sky school.

I like what I'm seeing regarding the new WBB hoops staff at Montana. Here's hoping they all (coaches and team) get off to a solid start when games roll around.

Though several on this board have stated the logic of Montana entering the year with a smaller roster this season, I'm still wondering if we might see the name of another transfer or a walkon at some point over the next 30 days. I'll be checking in daily. Go GrizWBB.

2022 Alex Pirog, a 6-2 forward from Colorado, was re-offered by Montana.

She was offered by the previous staff last July.

2021 signee Lamprini Polymeni is playing for Greece at FIBA U18: http://www.fiba.basketball/europe/challengers/u18women/2021/player/Lamprini-Polymeni

Seems like this ought to go here - Libby Stump has a bunch of highlight video (click on "videos" button):

Looks to be a pretty good 3-pt shooter!

Also, 2023 Macy Donarski can be added to the list. She has offers from UNLV, Drake, Montana, Montana State, Providence, Davidson, Green Bay, South Dakota State, and a few others. Her sister is a rising sophomore for Iowa State

Mackendra “Mack” Konig, a 5-9 PG from Washington, holds from the following schools:

“Furman, Hofstra, LaSalle, Montana, Iowa State, James Madison, LIU, Marquette, Northeastern, Rice, Southern Miss, Toledo and Wofford. UC-Riverside, UC-San Diego and Washington are also in the mix.”

Looks like she’ll stay closer to home.

The issue isn't whether we get this player or that player.

The issue is, this staff is going after recruits of the quality we've never even attempted to get. Somewhere along the line, this will pay off for us. In fact, maybe already has.....

:thumb: I agree. In fact, it already has.

Malia Samuels and Mahaila Harrison, both 2023 recruits from Washington, visited Montana this weekend.

Samuels, a 5-6 PG, is ranked No. 45 overall in the class of 2023 by ESPN.

Wow, I don't know for sure but that seems like it would be our highest rated player ever if LG are able to land her. I think Jamie Pickens was like 98th or thereabouts. The former Shannon Cate maybe (if ESPN had women prospect ratings back then)?

Bravo!! Glad we're reaching out to players of this caliber. This program has always had a lot to offer. But first--you have to make that offer! Glad this staff is doing that.
