Timmy Falls

Well-known member
2 games in, he is averaging 1.0ppg, 2rebs in about 19mpg. Just based on pure statistics, no info of whether he may have been hurt in the pre-season, what the team looks like, etc. I haven't watched any games. They are 2-0 though.

Not a pro or anti-Timmy post, but just know there is always a lot of interest in him.

Timmy got me thinking about some other former Griz (although a couple never played a game and one only played 2) so I looked up what they are up to.

Naseem Gaskin is playing at San Fran Community. They are stomping everyone and looks like they play everyone on the roster decent minutes, so numbers aren’t jumping off the chart, but he looks to be playing well.

Darius Henderson is at a NAIA school in Oregon (Corban) and is averaging 10p/5r.

Michael Steadman is at UMass and hasn’t played yet this season. Reports are that he is injured but day-to-day.

Cameron Satterwhite is playing professionally in Albania. Looks like he starts and is playing very well.

Oscar Lopez (‘member him?) is starting for Central Michigan. Decent numbers on awful shooting. They play Gonzaga on Monday. According to KenPom CMU is ranked 307/355 D-1 teams.

Alphonso Anderson starts and is playing well for Pacific having transferred from Utah State.

Tony Miller at Washington State hasn’t played yet this year because of a shoulder injury. Seemed to be injured some last year too if memory serves me correct.

Looking back, that’s an awful lot of scholarships for little to no return. Particularly with Gaskin, Henderson and Steadman taking up 2 years of scholarships. That would be hard for almost any program to overcome.

Already making excuses for the program I see.

Or being critical of recruiting failures. I honestly wasn’t offering an opinion. Everything I said was basically a statement of facts.
