Griz lost 84 - 66 to Purdue today. Link will take you to the box score.
Griz were lead by Kevin Criswell's 16 points on 6 - 17 shooting. David Bell contributed 12 points on 4 - 12 shooting, and Steve Horne scored 14 points on 6 - 17 shooting.
Griz shot 25 - 66 for 37.9% shooting percentage. Also, shot 6 - 25 from beyond 3 point line for 24% shooting percentage.
With Mansell out, David Bell played majority of time at point guard. Sam Riddle only played 13 minutes.
Bright spots:
Griz did out rebound Purdue by 38 - 36 margin.
Chris McKay blocked 3 shots.
There may be some more brights, but doesn't look like it. Box score doesn't look very good at all. Even free throw shooting looked poor, 10 - 16 for 62.5%.
When a team is having a hard time shooting, must pick up the defensive intensity. Doesn't look like they were able to do that against a very good Purdue team.
