Satterwhite v. Falls - 3-Pt Shooting

For a division 1 pt. guard the assist to turnover ratio to should be 3.0 to 1.0,
For an off guard/wing guard it should be 2.0. to 1.0 minimum
Falls, whatever position you want to label him was 2.8. to 1.7. assist to turnover in the regular season. So...

This assertion is bulls**T. Last year NCAA stats show (minimum of 3APG, so primary ballhandlers) exactly 9 players with a A/TO rate over 3 and 75 over 2. Out of 4000 players. Hyperbole much. Where are all these guys that "should" have your ideal ratio? Many teams don't have any.

That said, though I like Timmy and wish he would have finished his career here the team is loaded with guards and the Griz won't miss a beat. Also agree with those that see see Satterwhite as more versatile on D as he has the size to guard 3's and smaller 4's. He 's going to be a nice player for Travis, IMO.

Wasn't Timmy out early last year with a broken hand caused by pounding his hand against a wall in frustration? Led team in fouls and pouted/ignored teammates/coaches. Now he's apparently not met academic standards to remain with a team he's contributed on for 3 straight years.

Sounds like the kid needs to grow up a bit and the team will be just fine without him.

Now just hope there is a season!

Yes, Timmy lost time because he broke his hand in frustration in practice. He also lost his second summer in Missoula, when he didn't concentrate on academics, losing summer practice time as well as the opportunity to to work summer camps as a result. Then, of course, he lost the chance to play in the Bahamas Showcase as well as subsequent games because he called a coach a "f###[#]' and stormed off yelling "why am I even on this f###[#] team?!"
That's some good information.

Makes sense as to why he was a favorite of one or two over here after reading that.

Falls is a fiery player. Lots of intensity and competitiveness. That's part of why he was a crowd favorite.

Are you still predicting Gaskins as starter?

Until he's not on the team anymore yep.

He's got as good as shot as your boy falls.
