Interesting that he tagged Rosy and said he spoke with him. I thought the rumors were that we moved on from Rosy???

Has Rosey ever coached receivers?

No, but you don’t need to be the QB coach to be the OC. It’s just more common. Although why Rosey would want to take a demotion and stick around is beyond me. Doesn’t seem like an ideal situation.

Plus he tried to get the Southern Oregon head coaching job in the Frontier.

Rosey isn't coaching the qbs anymore. Losing Britt was the last straw for BH.

Jeff Fisher just stepped down from his USFL head coaching gig. Next steps for him are unknown currently.

He's only 64, replaced by a 63 year old. Time to gather the family around. If you live long enough, you might have to make that decision yourselves one day. Good luck to him and his family.

He's probably unable to get a job. BH could have offered him to stay if he took on a smaller roll. If he's out here recruiting receivers, he's probably linked to that group now. Rosey is definitely still on the staff. That's all we really know.

I'm sure he'll bring to the WR corps what he did for the QBs.

It looks like he is in an associate head coach type of role helping Bobby oversee the program and help in recruiting. Being in that type of role could be a good place for him. Creating our offensive scheme was not good.

I know some of you think Bobby controls our offensive scheme, defensive scheme, coaches special teams and also handles all the duties of being a head coach but that is obviously impossible.

And before anybody responds, obviously everything is his responsibility. (Why he demoted Rosey). He does not scheme up O and D. His job is the culture of the program and to coach the coaches and make them better.

Seems to be doing pretty well for himself

Georgia Tech is going to be losing one of its top defensive coaches.

Jason Semore, who spent last season coaching linebackers and was set to be the nickels/safeties coach as well as special teams coordinator, is leaving to be the defensive coordinator at Marshall. Marshall has been searching for a new defensive coordinator since Lance Guidry left, first for Tulane and then for Miami and they are hiring one of the best up-and-coming defensive coaches in the sport.

Semore returned to Georgia Tech for the 2022 season as the linebackers coach.

As a result of this coaching job, Semore was nominated for FootballScoop's linebackers coach of the year. The difference in how FootballScoop hands out should be noted. Instead of writers or members of the media voting on the awards, FootballScoop lets fellow coaches decide who gets to be nominated and win the awards. This shows that Semore's job this year was recognized by his peers in the coaching profession and it is well deserved.

Marshall has been searching for a new defensive coordinator since Lance Guidry left, first for Tulane and then for Miami and they are hiring one of the best up-and-coming defensive coaches in the sport.

Semore also did a good job of helping Georgia Tech's special teams unit. He took over the title of special teams coordinator after the firing of Geoff Collins and while the unit still had its hiccups, it was improved from the first four games of the season.

Update I’ve been told by a high-level source that #GaTech special teams coordinator/safeties/nickels coach Jason Semore has not accepted the DC job yet at Marshall. He will interview this week formally. He is the front runner."

Didn't he call an all out blitz against the cats once when it was like 3rd and a mile and they picked up the 1st because there was nobody left to cover the middle of the field?
