6'2" 185lbs Scout 3 Star DB/QB
via Paytonlives - (Federal Way HS) Federal Way, WA (UM, Idaho, Wyo., San Jose St.)
Was quoted "I traveled to Montana earlier this year because it is a very special place to play."

Unless a Pac 12 team jumps in I feel like we have a real chance of competing with Idaho, Wyoming and Sac State to get this kid. Landing Keenan Curran would be a invaluable boost to the talent in our secondary. He really does remind me a lot of Trumaine Johnson coming out of HS and could be a similar under the radar steal for UM. One thing to note is that Curran is also an excellent student who holds an offer from Yale. Check out the highlights below and start praying that he verbals and then signs on that dotted line! This kid is exactly what our secondary needs!

Hope we land him, but it'd be tough to turn down Yale if you have career aspirations other than football.

Tru was a 1 star recruit out of high school and Keenan is a 3 star recruit. I wouldn't really call Keenan under the radar, but I would argue that he has been under recruited to this point. Would be a fantastic get.

Not sure why anyone would play for Idaho.

I hope we get him and I hope he's signed to play on the defensive side of the ball. Dude is a BEAST at corner, but has worse throwing mechanics than Trent McKinney.

I love it when message boarders start talking about "throwing mechanics"

Joe Montana had bad mechanics too.

Exactly. Tru had pretty bad throwing mechanics in his highlight video as well ;)

EWU has offered him and I get the feeling they have the inside track on him. Multiple former federal way teammates of his at EWU and his mom and sister are alums, let alone the season EWU is having. San Jose state also has his former teammate Mike Tate, are FBS, and just had a huge win over Fresno State last night.

That being said, Montana is certainly in the running and the young man is being very deliberate in his recruiting. He isn't rushing it and has taken multiple visits. He visited Montana over the summer and also took an official visit over PSU weekend.

Would be great get and I hope Montana lands him!
