Yes, these guys are the real deal. Coached against them their sophomore year. Strong, fast, and tough. They led their team to the 2A state title this past fall (JRs) and have a good shot at going back again this year. Either or both would be great additions. They are both 2 way starters but would tend to defense for both of them at the next level. Brady possibly a slot receiver but I'd put him at safety. Brock is a tough RB but probably LB at the FCS level. Have to beat out the military academies, and possibly some other WAC schools to get them.

Is this because they’re really trying to shore up any perceived weaknesses in a team that they think can compete for it all or have they completely overhauled their recruiting strategy? Total offers compared to last year at this time is staggering.
 
I have to think the early recruiting reflects the realities of the portal era. There's end of season portal action, followed by fall Juco graduation, followed by post-spring camp portal action, followed by spring Juco graduation. The prep players are the summer campers and get some offers throughout the year, but they don't show up within weeks after committing like the Juco and portal kids do.
