Not a big loss i can assure you. Hauck didn't want him, and Breske was not interested in taking him if he had gone to Northern Colorado. Good luck to Coach Hudson.

You can run your mouth all you want from your safe haven of Chicago, but once you show up to Missoula, I doubt you'd have the balls to spew this garbage. Not only were some of those linebackers from 2005-2010 some of our very best in the history of the program, but they represented the program well off the field as well.
Let me know if you want me to arrange a time for you to confront said Linebackers from the 2005-2010 era so you can say these things to their faces.
Why pay so much attention this idiot who claims he is in "chicago"? He knows less than I do about college athletics and that is very little! the guy or gal is just stirring a pot...he/she is not too bright...anyone is tough on a keyboard, and brilliant employee at Univ of Chicago.....riiiiiiiiight.................

Hudson coached linebackers for the last 2 seasons, thats it! Before that he was secondary coach. Yes thats right Colt Anderson and Shann Schillinger were two of the players he coached.

I can't believe how much information that is readily accessed is given on this site that is wrong... The official 2010 University of Montana Media Guide says:
"Mike recently completed his fifth season at Montana.
He has coached several positions for the Grizzlies, and this will be his first season of working with the linebackers.
Last year he served as UM’s director of football operations, and for the second season in a row he coached the secondary. Last season Griz senior free safety Shann Schillinger and sophomore cornerback Trumaine Johnson were named to the All-Big Sky Conference’s first team.
Hudson was Montana’s associate head coach for four seasons from 2005-08, and has also coached the running backs and cornerbacks during his tenure at UM.
Mike just completed his 22nd year of coaching at the college level.
For the past 19 seasons he has coached teams at the FCS level. Hudson came to Montana after a two-year stint at Sam Houston State (2003-04) where he was the defensive coordinator for the Bearkats for a season and the defensive line coach the year prior to that.
He then returned to Texas State-San Marcos and had numerous coaching and administrative responsibilities while there from 1995-2002.
He began his collegiate coaching career at Texas State-San Marcos, working there from 1987-91. He also had coaching stints at the University of New Mexico (1994) and Trinity University (1992-1993).
Hudson earned a B.S. degree in kinesiology from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1994.
“Hud” was born in Bryan, Texas, and raised in San Antonio. He played collegiate football at Angelo State University in 1983 and 1984, and his ‘84 squad was the Lone State Conference champion..."
