I will be working all day tomorrow. Please post updates all day here. Tomorrow will not be a productive work day for me, between following TRU and GRIZ/Weber State basketball game. Why even go to work?
 
Tru just ran a 4.50 (unofficial) 40 on his 1st attempt. Announcers seemed impressed with someone his size running that time.
 
First run: 4.50. Anything close to 4.5 is great for a corner that size. Way to go Tru :clap:
19 bench reps tied for 4 th among corners and tied for 10th among all DB's :clap:
 
4.50 is a really good time for him I think. Things I've read have said that anything under 4.55 will help him.

that's a great time for his size. good job tru. mcsurdy had a good day, too.

while i am definitely rooting for these guys I'm also getting kind of bummed out about how difficult they're going to be to replace. the better they do, the more difficult. i take solace in the notion that good players like tru and dirt allow us to get more players like them.
 
4.50 in his combine profile and in Top Performers. Tied for 8th. Very good showing. His stock would seem to be climbing.
 
Watched every drill, he looks very very good, especially for his size. They have commented on his ball skills, and his hands have looked great, only one dropped ball on his first run through of the 5-yard backpedal drill. There have been plenty of comments about him moving to safety, though they say that he will get his shot at corner first. This day has to be helping his stock tons from what I am seeing.

Sounds like he's having a solid day. Is he tied for 8th in his group or for all DB's at the combine?

LSU CB Claiborne-best combo of arm length (33.2) and 40-time (4.44 on one stopwatch). Montana's T. Johnson-2nd best combo of 1st CB group.
