Griz Football & The NFL Draft

SLC Griz

Could somebody please put together a quick list of the Griz Players that have been drafted in the past (10) or so years? I think we had a hell of a streak going unitl a year or two ago, when Dan Moore was really our only possible option, but did not end up getting drafted. Obviously Jordan got us back on track last year, and hopefully Wags continues the streak again for us again this year.

I remember seeing in recent years, that we had more players drafted than teams like Texas and Ohio St. which blows me away! Getting players drafted into the NFL is a huge selling point to new recruits. I would love to see a list with how many consecutive years (recently) we have had a player drafted. If I had more time on my hands I would do it, but I don't!

Go Griz!

Feel free to update this list. This is what I have found so far, and still researching.

Anyone have a list of Griz who played in the NFL, i.e. those who made the team for the regular season, underrated or drafted?

Len Noyes lost his starting job when they signed Pee Wee Reese and then was cut when they signed Jackie Robinson and a young Roy Campanella, another victim of our Politically correct culture. LOL
