Griz wing to transfer

Just read this myself, and came here to post it. I guess we now why we signed another JC xfr. I wish Raason well. I really was looking forward to seeing him play to his potential.
 
That's too bad that it comes down to academics. That's a shame. All of a sudden the Griz are looking very young. No pun intended.
 
Good Luck to you Mr. Young in Billings & your future! It was a pleasure watching you this past season. I liked the fact that you hustled every time you were on the floor! Your hustle reminded me of Mike Chavez & that is definately a compliment!
 
You got to give props to Tinkle and his staff for looking out for his best interest academically. In a lot of programs, coaches look for ways to get around academic problems (at the detriment of the athlete's academic progress) or just let the kid fend on his own. Our staff used their connections with MSU-B to allow Young a chance to continue playing basketball at a school that he will have a better chance of suceeding at. I really thought Young would be the player to fill some of the void that AJ left. Big loss for us but glad he is continuing his education.

i AGREE...this is a loss to UM that is really a big win for all of us....Tinkle makes me proud...good luck this kid....he sounds like his head is on right, too.
