You got to give props to Tinkle and his staff for looking out for his best interest academically. In a lot of programs, coaches look for ways to get around academic problems (at the detriment of the athlete's academic progress) or just let the kid fend on his own. Our staff used their connections with MSU-B to allow Young a chance to continue playing basketball at a school that he will have a better chance of suceeding at. I really thought Young would be the player to fill some of the void that AJ left. Big loss for us but glad he is continuing his education.
