The Staff is having a tough time scheduling some good, quality games right now. The past success of the Griz, as well as the potential of upcoming years, proves to be detrimental in securing home and homes with "bigger" schools. These schools dont like to lose at home, nor do they like to travel to a difficult place to play (not to mention get to), so if the Griz want some marquee games, they will surely be at the mercy of the other schools... similar to what Gonzaga has been going through the last 5-6 yrs. Might end up having to get into some pre-conference tournaments to get some good competition..

Not sure if the game will be played in Pauley because of the remodel...Montana State is also scheduled for late December...no students will there...and few others probably....Sudzilla said:Grizbeer said:Confirmed Dec 5th at UCLA, also games at Nevada and Utah, and Home and Home with Idaho.

Im told the Zags are trying to convince the Griz to come to Spokane as well. Game would be in the Spokane Arena and set up as a "play-in" game for the CBE Classic in Kansas City (Duke, Marquette, Kansas State, and Gonzaga). Would make for a great (but brutal) non-conference lineup for the Griz if they added this game.. Doubt Tinks will do it though, too tough of a non-conference schedule.
