I know its a ways away and meaningless but i found this interesting. I saw a draft website that had a mock draft for 2012 with lillard projected 28th overall and gave him a ratig of 92 out of possible 120. Everybody in here knows how good he is but im quite suprised to see him get that kind of attention nationally. Here is the link http://www.nbadraft.net/2012mock_draft

Im not sure i think he is that good but was curious to see what you guys thought.

I see him as late 1st to mid 2nd. He is athletic, and versatile. If he improves his ball handling and his perimeter game, he could move up.

Athletically, defensively, and ball handling Cherry is not very far behind. Cherry though is young and needs ALOT of work with his shot. Cherry already has NBA quicks and defense. It should be fun to watch Lillard and Cherry go at this year, and hopefully next.

Good to see a Big Sky talent getting some attention. I believe Cherry is as talented as anyone we've had in a long time, including AJ. He just needs to improve his shot and develop that killer instinct.

Hes talented for sure, time will tell i guess.

but between lillard and cherry, i personaly feel Will has a better chance to stick im the leauge because of his game(DEFENSE). lot of big time scoring points in the league right now so im not sure how much lillard can stand out there, and athleticaly i think Will is a level above lillard. Wills superior athleticism/quickness will allow him to annoy a lot of guards, he has an uncommon feel for defense, especialy on the ball and has the quicks to play up there.

He has to improve drasticaly on offense to even get a look though. Gonna be great for big sky fans a ton of young talented guys all over the conference really

He got as High as the 21st pick in the 2011 draft this summer, but after the adidas Nations elite camp he dropped to 2012 draft. Some of the scouts didn't like the slow release in his shot.
