Some good news for you guys for once. Basketball program deserves more attention now that the football team is totally irrelevant.
Scott Disick said:The last thing we need is a Sam Riddle Jr. If he can't compete with Utah State's guards, he wouldn't see the floor against Cherry, Gregory, and DeShields. Send him to the Cats or to Carroll where he belongs. Maybe he can just go back to making rap videos in the mean streets of Corvallis.
MODS please move this thread to the basketball board.

Have you ever met the kid? He is very humble and an all out good kid.maroonandsilver said:Our scholarships are taken thru next year, so to be a Griz, he will have to walk on. Might be good diet for his ego, tho.

Is this true? I would have thought the big Serbian center not coming would have opened something up.

Not so. That scholarship went to Mario Dunn.

If Will redshirts we'll be a Top 25 team next season :thumb:

Is UM dropping to D2?

Offensively, Riley belongs, but can he be the defender Tinkle expects in his perimeter defenders? Riley would have to work a lot on quickness and footwork to be part of the rotation within 2 years.
I am not sure what he wants to study, but basketball wise, MSU might be a better fit for him.
