Nice to get national props but it was pretty clear he was just reading facts about your team and saying well done to each. Didn't get the feeling he actually knew anything about them, as is often with national talking heads and the FCS.

There's a reason I stopped listening to Rome years ago.

He must have some jackass from Huntsville on his staff....no other explanation for why he'd give a flying vertical fuck about this game.

I had not seen that! I was a big Jim Everett fan back in the day (as a Ram's fan) and I love seeing him stand up for himself -- just like any man would do when insulted by a mouthy prick. Too bad someone intervened. Wow. Perhaps the most ironic part of all is that Chris Everett could probably give him a beatdown as well.

Rome can take longer to say nothing than most sports announcers and that is saying something.
At least he got the stats right and the fact that a playoff system ROCKS!
