Just got to the game. Hoping the offense finds their rhythm. I don't worry about defense with Coach DeCuire.

Anderson leads the team with 42 fouls but is 7th in minutes played. He's a foul-machine. You can complain about a questionable call here or there if you want, but he brings attention upon himself consistently with his reaching and grabbing and that's not gonna change.

Mack Anderson played a solid game tonight, especially on defense as a high-post help-defensive anchor to keep ISU's guards from penetrating the lane from high post screens. He scored 12 points but, because of his foul trouble, played only 14 minutes (DCH was in the same predicament). I agree with mtgrizrule though, two fouls were cheap... though both of ISU's big men were suffering from the same issues. I'm truly puzzled about per-game fouls called in Big Sky play. A total of 42 fouls called tonight, pretty disruptive of first-half game flow. For comparison, I checked the box of the Weber State at Montana State game: 52 fouls total, with a total of 59 points scored at the freethrow lines of both teams. Ugh.

Pretty sure it's not the reffing that gets BSC teams "punched in the mouth" in the tourney every year! Last year EWU won a game because they did have a physical and skilled big guy.......like when Griz had Qvale.
