One of the most improved wing prospects on the West Coast is Derrien Carter-Hollinger.
The Foothills Christian sophomore thrived in his first season as a starter. While he compliments the team’s stars – Yassine Gharram, Jaren Nafarrete, and his big brother, Derrick Carter-Hollinger – he showed flashes of becoming a star himself.
Carter-Hollinger, who stands at 6-4, credits the leap in his game to having a more aggressive mindset.
“I think the most improved part in my game is my aggression,” Carter-Hollinger said. “It was mostly a change in mindset but I give credit to my father and my big brother for pushing me to be aggressive on both sides of the ball and make an impact to the game.”
