I think you'll find that our ESPN radio product as well as all of our podcast properties have consistent and proper audio.

When it comes to video, we have been experimenting with a bunch of new equipment but you never know how it's going to work in the field until you try it. And there's no re dos if the audio is hot like it was on Saturday. We got new lapell mics for an ipad and the audio coming from the players and Coach Hauck was clipping and hot, totally acknowledge that and am working on a solution.

When press conferences are in contained environments with a sound box, if the audio sucks, that's because the school providing the audio isn't doing it right. If it's something like Saturday night where it's not a contained environment, it's on us.

Next time I get hot levels like that, I simply won't post the video, just the audio from the hand recorder.

It's always a work in progress, particularly when you are working at a place like Utah Tech who doesn't have media coverage and no area to do post game interviews etc.

Liked the pod, disliked Andrew Houghton's take that "there's nothing the Griz can do to beat NDSU, SDSU or MSU this year." I assume he's saying that based on UMs performances over the last few years, but it's obvious he wasn't around in Bobby's first go around. There were some teams that started out not great and ended up in the semis by the end of the year. I'm certainly not making predictions myself but you just never know...
