I had Holy Cross over Monmouth from the start, and then talked myself into the upset of Austin Peay after looking over the number. Just dumb luck, but even a blind hog finds an acorn now and then.

Was not on the poll (just looked too unlikely, and neither was ranked), but Western Illinois just went into Youngstown State and won 38-35.

This is the weirdest year ever for FCS football. So many unlikely wins.

#18 Missouri State finally pulled it out over South Dakota, 31-23. However, the game went back and forth all the way and came down to the last play in the last minute. Despite the loss, I think USD is the real deal and deserves a spot in the top-25 over some of the pretenders down in the list.
